For a complex weighing system that provides both an overview of the scale and vehicle identification information, as well as monitoring driver operations in the weighing area and detailed documentation of the entry/exit flow, we are considering the Automatic Reporting Module for Vehicle Weighing (M.A.R.C.A.).
The weighing system proposed by Ultravision Consult is based on complex, modular platforms that can be easily integrated into production flows to streamline the electronic weighing process of vehicles. For process automation, the platform is complemented with a series of additional sensors such as video cameras, presence detection elements, and signaling elements, controlled by programmable controllers, reducing the need for operating personnel and procedural errors.
Accuracy and Precision in Weighing
Complex platforms, monitored by complementary systems of intelligent video cameras, controlled by controllers, meet all the requirements of a modern industrial weighing system and benefit from fully automated user guides. The module, which operates as a standalone application, provides accuracy and precision, regardless of the type of weighing, be it fully automatic, semi-automatic, or manual.
With a capacity of up to 80,000 kilograms and a precision of 20 kg, the weighing platforms are equipped with an OIML certified compression load cell, essential for road vehicle scales, silo scales, or tank scales. The transported goods are identified by the driver using proximity cards, selection buttons, or numeric codes, and vehicle identification is done using RFID technology and/or license plate recognition. The system operates independently of weather conditions or vehicle cleanliness. The weighing platforms are continuously monitored by a complementary video camera system that oversees the flow of cars on the platform and provides an overview of the scale and the process, allowing, in certain situations, cargo identification. Equipped with unified control systems through AppVision™, the weighing platforms are equipped with process monitoring sensors that trigger alarms in the event of improper scale operation.
Interoperability for all components through the AppVision™ SCADA platform
The AppVision™ SCADA platform ensures interoperability of all components of these smart platforms and creates the basis for managing the entire system. With a customized interface and commands in Romanian, in addition to basic functions specific to industrial automation, the management system integrates video surveillance and automatic identification solutions. All information obtained from the weighing procedures is collected, processed, and transmitted to authorized recipient lists via the Automatic Reporting Module for Vehicle Weighing (M.A.R.C.A.). The data will be processed and included in transaction logs, automatically transmitted at the end of the workday and at the end of the week. These reports, sent to authorized recipients, contain the list of vehicles weighed in the defined interval, the number of weighings, and the total net amount transported for each transport unit, provider, and type of goods.
No Human Errors
The M.A.R.C.A. software module developed by UltraVision Consult represents a solution for collecting data from connected scales, generating multiple reports, and providing control over the quality and time allocated to each operation. It eliminates potential human errors, and the solution is compatible with other systems, allowing centralized data management and documentation of all scale transactions.
